DVBLink v2 products are released!

We are very proud to announce release of our DVBLink v2 products:
- DVBLink TVSource
- DVBLink for IPTV
- DVBLink for Dreambox
- DVBLink Server Network Pack

New version of DVBLink products has a huge list of improvement and new features comparing to the previous version. Almost every aspect of the program is improved - new easy-to-use user interface, improved reliability, compliance to UAC rules, increased number of supported tuner cards, network streaming to other MediaCenter computers to name just a few.

We would like to thank all our alpha and beta testers for their valuable input.

All DVBLink source products - DVBLink TVSource, DVBLink for IPTV and DVBLink for Dreambox - are available as Regular and Connected editions. Connected edition includes bundled DVBLink Server Network Pack and saves 20% of the price comparing to products purchased separately.

The retail price of Regular edition of DVBLink TVSource, DVBLink for Dreambox, DVBLink for IPTV and DVBLink Server Network Pack is 25 euros.
The retail price of DVBLink TVSource, DVBLink for Dreambox and DVBLink for IPTV Connected edition is 40 euros.
The prices include all future product updates. DVBLink Server Network Pack includes unlimited number of clients.

Owners of v1 of DVBLink TVSource, DVBLink for IPTV and DVBLink for Dreambox can upgrade to Regular edition of these products for free.

DVBLink v2 products are available for download from Download section of our website:

Installation and configuration manual is included with each product installation zip file.

If you are running v1 of these products you have to uninstall them before installing v2 products. Owners of DVBLink TVsource v1 can save tvsourcesettings.xml of their sources and copy it to the correspondent directories of new sources. It will restore scanned channels and channel numbers. The channel selection and EPG mapping however has to be done again.

If you are running beta of DVBLink v2, use bat files, enclosed in zip archive for update. This will update your binary files and will keep all your scanned channels and preferences.
Update the DVBLink Server first, followed by update of the installed products and network clients. You will have to enter again server IP address or host name after client update!

Its good to see V2 released for all these products with the huge list of improvements.

I purchased DVBLink for DVBViewer at the end of September 2009 and would like to know when V2 of this product will be released so that I can take advantage of these improvements.

ok so I just purchased the TVSource connected pack. It would not let me use my normal gmail address when I ordered or some reason. You may want to change that policy as I had to use my work email to order which I find really annoying. Gmail IS my primary address, I do not get one from my ISP here.

So anyway now what do I do? There used to be stickies about hardware finger prints and things but I cannot see anything like that any more? Do I just wait for my registration key to be emailed?

Yep - I know quite a number of people who use Gmail/Googlemail as their primary e-mail address. Quite a number of ISPs in the UK no longer provide e-mail addresses and expect people to use 3rd party providers. (Be Internet, who provide mine and are pretty popular as a low-cost high-speed provider, are one of them, so gmail is my primary mail provider as well)

I also have a MobileMe me.com address as a backup as I'm not happy using my work e-mail for personal purchases - but I'd also advise DVBLogic to re-think not accepting from Gmail/Googlemail accounts - they're used by people who wouldn't consider hotmail or yahoo...

Just wanted to say that I completed the registration process and everything is good. Was a bit confused as the v2 beta releases did not show the HW fingerprint.

V2.0 release caused my tuner to start giving no signal errors in media center which was annoying after the beta being perfect until that. The new 2.01 release fixed everything though and it has been working flawlessly ever since. Really impressed with the product you guys have made here it is fantastic. I will be purchasing a Dreambox license in the next few weeks as well!
