Will there be a DVBlink V2 version for DVBdream anywhere soon?

Don'nt know if it makes sense, but now I use two running DVBDream instances, each with its own physical DVB-S tunercard, and each connect to its own virtual DVBLink tuner. Does TVSource and/or V2 make it possible for one program to control the two DVB-S tunercards?

Network Pack support is coming soon. DVBlink for DVBDream will be the first 1geek1tool product to support the new features. It should happen in the next few weeks.

As for your questions, I believe so. Unfortunately, I did not play with the network pack yet, so maybe Oberon or Sab can confirm.

It looks like version 2 is out for everything EXCEPT DVBlink for DVBdream.

When will V2 come out for DD, and, does the Network Pack support DVBlink for DVBdream v1?

None of the 1geek1tool products (DVBDream and HDPVR) are supporting the network pack yet. We are waiting for dvblogic to release the SDK for the network pack. As soon as we receive it, we will start working on it.

Any update on this as I'm eagerly awaiting this networking functionality for my HTPC and DVBDream.

We are [still] discussing license agreement with DVBLogic. The good news is that the discussions are pretty much completed. As soon as we sign the new license agreement, I will be able to make DVBLink for DVBDream evolve and enable the network pack to work.

Well better news yet. We have come to an agreement with dvblogic! We should receive the dvblink v2 SDK soon and start development. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

I know you are going to attempt to get Network tuners working in the next release..... Anything else you have your sights on ?

Just curious, it's always fun to hear from the developer what they have planned for a next release

Are you going to build it to be compatble the new DVBDream 1.5 which is set to release in the next week or two? As I'm sure you know it is supposed to have some bug fixes as well as better W7 support http://www.dvbdream.org/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=

I have not done any specific effort to support DD 1.5. DD has a good history of being back-ware compatible with its plugin interface. If there was to be a problem with 1.5, I'll modify the plugin to be compatible. If any of you have a chance to confirm wether of not it works, please let me know!

About 1.5, is it still going to be free? I see on the web site that users have to pay...

Apparently its going to be around $30. This definitly would drive the cost of DD + DVBLink up a bit. But if it it is stable and solid then I'd pay.

Why would you update to 1.5? I am very happy with 1.4i, I don't see what would make me pay for something that does the same for free...
