You will need to do a rescan and redo any changed channels in DVBridge module. I think this is caused by PID changes, nothing you can do about it except rescan. Then you may have to resync the channels in MC. Unfortunately you will lose the recording history on the changed channels.

rescan where? i cleared the channel list in mce completely by deleting the guide data. and i can see the channel tune in dvbdream functioninng correctly. just no signal or weak signal is making it into mce. USA vs. Algeria worldcup match is about to begin and i cant watch

Mike, I rescanned in DVBDream. Nothing new. Channels are working fine from DVBDream, but are not coming thru into MCE. Things like ESPN, some of the HBO's, etc.

Anyone has any ideas? This is happening on two MCE computers.

Yep, channel changes are followed thru without problems.

You should make a dump of the stream sent to media center. In your dblink registry, under the local sink key, create a dwrord value set to 1. A file should be created on disk in the local sink folder. Set the value to 0 to stop the dump.

I'm just curious, any update on sending EPG to MediaCenter?

Also, I installed the DVBLink Server from TVSource v3.0.1 and applied the AddIn fix in this thread, and then installed DVBLink for DVBDream v2.xB1. For the most part, everything seems OK -- however, on several channels I get the "weak signal" message... yet if I turn on rendering in DVBDream (v1.4i) -- there is a picture. Any thoughts?

A little help on creating the dump? This doesn't seem to work anymore.

Hi David,

there seems to be a bug with the dump creation process following the instructions you refer too.

Here is workaround for the bug: after setting the dump transport stream check box in dvbdream, close and re-open dvbdream.

For some reasons, the flag does not seem to be updated right away.
