So what's the scoop on the 1.5.6.2 driver?

I have been using the 1.0.5 driver because 1.5.6.1 was horribly unreliable (lost streaming several times a day). The 1.0.5 driver was a big improvement for me but still not 100% reliable.

Now, has anybody used 1.5.6.2 with success? This driver comes with the MCE support beta package. Until MCE package fixes the problems with duplicate channels, supports more than one HDPVR and can do something other than IRBlaster channel changing, I still haven't given up on DVBLink.

Please post your experiences with 1.5.6.2 with DVBLink?

I tried this and it went to hell in a hand basket. I then reverted back to 1.0.5.301 to avoid the recycling of the HDPVR issue.

I had bad experience with 1.5.6.2 as well. Stay away. If you want the latest, get the 1.5.7.0 instead.

I don't have any issues with the 1.5.6.2 driver.

I'll try the 1.5.7.0 now (didn't know it was released). I hope they solve the AV sync stuff I'm having. The release notes specifies that it was resolved for several set top boxes. Let's hope mine is one of them

Problems with stability my not be the drivers I was having stability problems and it turned out that if I have anything else plugged into the same USB controller as the HDPVR it would either crash lockup or just say that the tuner lost signal. It took a little time to figure out which USB port were being handled by which controller but well worth it

Well I've tried the 1.5.7 driver for a few days now. Stability seems fine (once both HD PVR's worked simultaniously) but that was the case with the 1.5.6.2 driver also. The AV sync isn't resolved but it has improved. The sound still is first but the image follows in a few tenths of a second. If you don't look for it, it doesn't show.
