DVBLogic for Hauppauge HDPVR 3.0 Beta 3

Upgrade Beta 1 or Beta 2 -> Beta 3
I know DVBLink for HDPVR users are now used to just run the installer to update their source, but the rest of the DVBLink world do not have this luxury. Unfortunately we DO NOT have smart upgrade yet (again, not enough time) for DVBLink for Hauppauge HDPVR 3.0 Beta 3. So here is what you'll have to do:
1- Stop the DVBLink Server service
2- Overwrite all the source's files (not the directories) with the template's files.
Template directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink2\Templates\Sources\HDPVR
Sources directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBLogic\DVBLink2\Sources\[your source name]
3- Start the DVBLink Server service

Next beta will have smart upgrade.

Note: There seems to be a problem with the installer to update the DVBLink Server. If you want to update the DVBLink Server to version 3.0 (and you should), uninstall DVBLink Server and then launch our install which will re-install DVBLink Server.

We should setup the upgrade button next Monday. In the mean time, if your trial license is set to expire, send me an email at geeks @ 1geek1tool.com and I'll be able to extend your trial.

Does this version support the network pack on WHS? Will this work with SageTV usb-uirt? In addition, is it possible to have both HDPVR and your base DVBlink program working simultaneously on a WHS setup? I am in the U.S. Thanks.

Not for WHS yet, but coming soon.
It should work on USB-UIRT using our hooks, search the forum for more details.
DVBLink for HDPVR is just another source to DVBLink Server. IE: It feeds it with audio/video stream.

I finally was able to set this up. But now I have an issue with web streaming (via the network pack). I get picture but no sound. This is definitively a problem with HDPVR 3.0 and not the network pack, because I get sound just fine from my DVB-S tuners under TVSource.

It is the issue with Network Pack as we do not have AC3 decoder yet.

I am pretty impressed so far. I've got a proof of concept set up that is currently 1 HDPVR and 5 clients via the network pack. I've had one lock up of the machine hosting the HDPVR but other than that it's quite impressive. Changing channels on a box in another room connected to a server from the client machine is slick. I'm going to run through the trial period in this configuration as the basement on the house is being finished but after that it will be time to build the production system for the house that will be 4 DirecTV HD23-600 connected to the host server controlled via TV Translators. 6 thin clients connected via the network pack. 1 in the living room, 1 in the bedroom, 3 in the gym and 1 over the bar. All driven via Event Ghost from both my wife's and my Android handsets which means my remote control will always be on me.

As someone who works in the IPTV industry I have to say gentlemen you should be proud of your accomplishment. Very well done.

So fred is this going to separate to the 2.x or is the 2.x version going to be discontinued i love this new version but i really have no need for it at the time as i only use the tuner in one room atm am i going to be forced to pay to update for further releases/fixes etc.
